Amazon Suspends Seller accounts for a variety of reasons. We've heard many horror stories including issues with Amazon teams and poor seller performance help. With 8 years of experience, we can't make Amazon's systems better, but we can do the best to navigate them. If you're a legitimate business and put customer satisfaction first, then Amazon considers reinstating your shop.
You could be suspended because of negative reviews, counterfeit products, negative feedback patent infringement, rights owner complaints, legal claims in the product title or multiple amazon accounts. Sometimes the issue can be caused by other sellers online businesses, customers complaining about you selling counterfeit products and much more. Many sellers face these issues caused by the e commerce giant and amazon operates an unusual plan for helping suspended sellers. Either way, we've seen it on multiple accounts before and can help guide you on the right steps to take to resolve your Amazon seller accounts suspension or listing issues.

What should you do if you receive an account suspension?

5 Steps to Appeal an Amazon Account Suspension (if a plan of action is required)

1. Understand why your account was suspended. The first step is to find out why your account was suspended. Amazon will give you a general reason for the suspension in the notification email, but you'll need to review information in your account and listings to get more detail. It may be due to a policy violation, a trademark issue or customer complaint or feedback. Once you have a better understanding of why your account was suspended, you can start working on a plan to fix the problem and get your account reinstated.

2. Gather evidence. Once you know why your seller central account was suspended, it's time to start gathering evidence that you can use to address and appeal the suspension. This may include things like order receipts or an invoice, customer communications, and shipping records. You need to have documents to provide proof and explain the situation. You might need to request additional documents from your supplier or screenshot your listings. Anything that will help show that you are in compliance with Amazon's policies and procedures should be collected and organized.

3. Write a plan of action (appeal letter). After you have all of the evidence gathered, it's time to write a plan of action outlining what you will do to fix the problems that led to the suspension of your account. Be sure to be specific in your plan of action, focus on only the reason they gave for the infringement or warning, for example. Include specific details for each task. This will show Amazon that you are serious about getting your account reinstated and that your company are taking steps to prevent the suspension from happening again in the future.

It's important that you keep your message writing concise (use bullet points)and form a simple appeal. It is critical that you cover all the information discussed in your notice. While it may not seem like it, these are meant to be helpful. Mention the policy violations and account health issues that may have led to your account closure. If the problem is a specific item of inventory then create your letter around this.

4. Submit your appeal. Once you have everything ready, it's time to submit your appeal letter to Amazon. You will need to provide them with all of the evidence and information that you have gathered as well as your plan of action. Depending on the reason for the suspension, they may also require additional information, invoice or documentation before making a decision on whether or not to reinstate your store. You usually need to wait 24 to 48 hours for feedback.

5. Follow up as needed. After you have submitted your appeal, it's important to follow up as needed with Amazon until they respond back regarding your account status. If they require additional information or documentation for appealing the claim, be sure to provide it promptly so that they can make a decision on your appeal in a timely manner.

Receiving an Amazon account suspension can be a daunting experience, but it's important to keep calm and take actionable steps to appeal the decision and get your account reinstated. By following these five steps, I hope you'll be well on your way to getting back up and running on Amazon in no time! *Note your account health rating will take a long time to return to above 150-200

The Number 1 problem with Selling Products on Amazon

If you're an Amazon Seller, then you know firsthand the risk of having your account suspended or blocked. You may be inundated with policy violations. It's a frustrating and unfair system, to be sure. And it makes it difficult for business owners to depend and rely on that critical income from being an Amazon Seller.
When you grow your business as a seller on Amazon, you risk Amazon taking your selling privileges away. And if that happens, you could lose your entire business, with funds and even inventory held. That's why it's important to be aware of the risks involved in selling on Amazon, especially if you're creating an Amazon-only brand. In this blog post, we'll explore the subject of the number one problem with selling on Amazon—the risk of having your account suspended or blocked.

Why does this happen?

There are a few reasons why this might happen. First, if you're not complying with Amazon's policies, such as issues with a listing, then you run the risk of having your account suspended or blocked. Second, if you're not providing good customer service, then that can also lead to problems with your account. Finally, if there are complaints about your product or service, that can also lead to issues with your account. There are lots of things that can cause an Amazon suspension for an Amazon seller.

How Can You Protect Yourself?

The best way to protect your Amazon Seller Account is to make sure that you're in compliance and good standing with all of Amazon's policies and that you're providing good customer service. Additionally, it's important to have a plan in place in case something does happen to your account, writing a plan of action is not easy. That way, you can minimize the damage and get back up and running as quickly as possible.
